What is Client Money Protection?
Client Money Protection (CMP) is a mandatory requirement for all letting agents in England who handle client money such as rent and deposits. It ensures that if a letting agent misappropriates client funds, landlords and tenants can be compensated.
How your money is protected
- All client money is held in a separate designated client account
- Client funds are never mixed with our own business funds
- We are audited in accordance with our CMP scheme requirements
- In the unlikely event of misappropriation, you can claim compensation through our CMP scheme
